What this tool is
A free search engine over Mexico's foreign-trade (import) records. Type a product and get the matching tariff codes (HS codes), each with aggregate import value, number of operations and main countries of origin.
Where the data comes from
Official Mexican import records, processed and aggregated by VS-Trade. Figures reflect definitive imports into Mexico across a rolling data window.
What we show
Per HS code we publish only aggregate indicators: total import value (USD), number of operations, top countries of origin and representative product descriptions.
What we never show
We never publish importers, taxpayer IDs (RFC) or any name-level data. The public tool is aggregate by design — a privacy-preserving layer, not a directory of companies.
Coverage
More than 7,000 tariff codes across 96 chapters of the Harmonized System. Generic/sentinel chapters (98–99) are excluded from indexing.
Updates
The underlying index is rebuilt on a monthly cadence, so the search follows the latest available data window automatically.
